About Us

Inquiry Academy is an education start-up that offers premium small-group seminars to high-school students.

Our mission is to cultivate students’ critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and public speaking skills.

All our tutors are selected through a highly competitive process, compensated at above-industry rates, and drawn exclusively from the world’s leading universities.

We are currently offering three programs, commencing in mid-April:

  • Thinking About Existence

  • Thinking About Right and Wrong

  • Thinking About China and the World

Each program consists of ten two-hour seminars, held weekly and in an interactive online format.

  • ⁠Held lectureships at University College (Oxford), Lady Margaret Hall (Oxford), and Lincoln College (Oxford)
  • ⁠Served as Undergraduate Admissions Interviewing Officer at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford
  • ⁠Taught over 200 Oxford undergraduate tutorials and revision classes in Ethics, Practical Ethics, and Political Theory
  • ⁠Awarded a prestigious scholarship for doctoral research from UK’s Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)
  • ⁠Presented research at more than 30 academic conferences hosted by over 20 universities worldwide
  • ⁠BPhil in Philosophy, University of Oxford | BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Australian National University | BA in Philosophy, Government and International Relations, University of Sydney
  • ⁠More than ten years of experience in high-school education, including seminar teaching, private tutoring, and debating coaching
